This tile_cached elevation service is designed to provide access to publicly
available highest resolution, ortho Digital Terrain Model (DTM) data captured
by remotely piloted aircraft systems (drones), piloted aircraft, and the
Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) and bathymetric data over areas of
Queensland. This digital terrain model (DTM) represents the bare ground
surface or depth without any objects like trees and buildings. This service
comprises the latest publicly available 0.5 and 1 metre resolution LiDAR DEMs
over Queensland acquired under Queensland Government coordinated acquisition
programs, Geoscience Australia’s 1 second (30 metre resolution) hydrologically
corrected SRTM Digital DEM, and 30, 100, 250 meter resolution bathymetric
data. Accuracy is dependent on the projects used. This Limited Error Raster
Compression (LERC) tile cached service, which handles tiles that connect
through multiple levels of details, is built for 3D content scenes, elevation
profiles, and is specialised for elevation surface data to extract per pixel
height values. Web Service Functions including Aspect, Hillshade,
Slope_degrees and Slope_percent_rise are available in cache-disabled service
in ESRI desktop clients. Additionally stretch and Dynamic Range Adjustment
(DRA) can be applied, in both the cache-enabled and cache-disabled service, as
required through any client to enhance visual contrast. The complete metadata
record for this service is available from the Queensland Spatial Catalogue.
This service supports projects captured in both GDA94 and GDA2020 datums. A
Seven parameter similarity transformation has been applied to new projects
that have been captured in GDA2020, this is to ensure that they align and
display correctly when published in the default WGS 1984 Web Mercator
(Auxiliary Sphere) projection alongside GDA94 projects. The ISO 19115 standard
metadata record for this service and further individual epoch mosaic product
metadata information is available from the Queensland Spatial Catalogue. If

downtime please subscribe here: http://ems.gs/3qln0ijbKGR .
